Make Web Links Open Automatically in New Windows

It's handy to use the tool that WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors give you to make a link open, using highlighted words. It looks neat and professional that way, on your web pages. But it bothered me that the page I was viewing was replaced with the new link's page. Then I have to go back where I was right away, and Right Click to Open in a New Window; or just remember to go back as many as it takes, to get back to the original page I was reading before I clicked a link. Are you with me so far? I'm not sure if I'm making myself clear enough.

Here's an example:
I want to open this link but it replaces my web page, so when I put on my webmaster hat and edit Html, I need to add a couple of words to my links to get them behaving properly...

Instead of open this link
I want target="new">open this link
So add a -space- after the web page destination quote and type target="new" before the bracket. And now you have edited your Html code to make your links act properly.

One more thing - and this is an important one - whatever words you use for the link, make sure the words are keywords, so the search engines index your page in the most optimal way. So now my link will look like this...

So, give your links manners and help them open automatically in a new window for your readers, in case they forget to Right Click for options.

Mining YouTube For Traffic Back To Web Sites

Most webmasters have heard of posting on forums and other people's websites, to generate traffic back to their sites. But how do we know which sites we should post on? Do they have enough traffic to do our site any good? And do the readers happily click lots of links, so we have a chance of them coming over to visit our site? These are common questions that need answers so we don't waste our time posting to sites that will not generate any traffic for us. Or worse yet, paying for a Google Ad on those sites without any return.

Some have downloaded the Alexa tool-bar to be able to see statistics in their browser, as they go to each site. If you want to get the tool-bar, click on the Alexa link above and then click, get Sparky, for your browser version. Alexa's Sparky tool-bar does not tell us, however, if the people at a site or forum will click our links and visit us. It's a cool tool, but we need more information than only traffic numbers.

Another option is to use information posted on You Tube for "click-throughs" from other sites. Under each You Tube video is the word "Links." When you click on the word, you see where people came from that clicked to see the video. If it's a place you can post an Ad Sense ad or a link-back Forum post with a lot of traffic, you already know what topic interests those people and that they like to click on links. How convenient for web site owners wanting traffic.
So, now you can look up key words in YouTube's Search Box under Videos, and find all the relevant traffic sites you need. Oh, Happy Day!

Want one more little search tool to find traffic from Google? Find yourself a few good blogs with a high ranking at Google ...then read entries and post comments, with a link back to your site. Say something smart and grab attention. Hopefully you are a well-rounded individual and can write on any number of subjects. Many passionate people enjoy knowing many different things and you should be one of them. Read a lot and then post a lot, to get traffic. This is a fun way to get targeted traffic, since the blogs you find should have something to do with what your site customers want. Do this a little each day and all those back-links start building up for you.

Thought 37 - “My life is out of control!”

Thought 37

Today we are fasting from the thought that says: “My life is out of control!”

That’s what the devil wants you to think. He wants you to feel helpless and “under” the circumstances. When you think this way, you get discouraged. You lose hope. You give into things. Like a jellyfish, you are carried by the prevailing current. No it’s not!

1. Think above. Stop for a moment and understand what I’m saying here. Think “above” – think from a higher point of view. Look down at life rather than “up” at it. When Elisha’s servant saw from “above”, he realized there were more for him than those against him.

(2 Kings 6:14-17) Notice, God didn’t add any chariots. They were always there. Elisha’s servant just couldn’t see them, because he wasn’t thinking “above.” THINK ABOVE.

2. Don’t see the bigger picture today. That’s not a typo! Think of your situation and your world as small. Think of yourself bigger. Don’t forget – how YOU see yourself, is how life will see you. That’s how the devil will see you. That’s how your mountain will see you. If you see yourself bigger than the mountain (Greater is He that is in you—that makes you big!), then the mountain will respect what you say when you tell it to move!

3. The best day of your life is the day you decide your choices are your own; therefore, your life is your own. No excuses. No one to blame. Remember the lame man at the pool of Bethesda for 38 years. He stayed in his condition because he told Jesus what he had believed for all those years: “I have no one to help me.” (John 5:7) DECIDE TO OWN YOUR CHOICES and you will own the life God wants you to have.

4. Focus on the inside, not the outside. If you’re like me, there are several things on the outside that are not fully under control, but that’s not my job. My job is to get control of the inside. That’s what this fast from wrong thinking is about. It’s taking care of the INSIDE. Deal with your thoughts by continually going over these emails, these verses, these mindsets. YOU ARE IN CONTROL IF YOU CONTROL YOUR THOUGHT LIFE.

5. Take control of your day, one thought at a time. Don’t be overwhelmed. Isaiah 28:13 says that we build God’s Word and God’s thoughts in our lives: “line upon line, precept upon precept.”

THINK IT & SAY IT:

I am in control of my life, because I am in control of my thoughts. I rule my life by ruling my thoughts. My thoughts liberate my emotions, my health, my relationships and my whole life.

I will not stay in a defeated, lonely, sick, depressed condition another day of my life. I focus on the inside (HE is in me, I look up to HIM). I know the thoughts of victory that I am developing will take care of my outside. This fast from wrong thinking is working IN ME, in Jesus’ name.
I think ABOVE beginning today. I choose to look down at life, rather than look up at it. I see it from God’s point of view. I’m bigger than my problem, bigger than the mountain, bigger than any enemy I face today.

Greater, larger and more dominant is HE that is in me, than he that is in the world. TODAY IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE, because I have control of the choices I make.

Since blog's are written from bottom to top, but read from top to bottom, I like to remind my readers at the top from time to time, what's available here and the purpose of this blog. There are several options for you to make an Internet income from what's written here, including

simply promoting the programs or
doing both

We've all experienced computer trouble at one time or another, if we've owned one for more than just a short time. Does your nursing home feed your loved one enough or do they have to steal food at night?

It came as a total surprise to us to find out that our family member, rehabilitating in a nursing home, was so hungry. He literally had to steal a cold cheese sandwich each night. The sandwiches were the snacks sent up for the nurses on overnight duty. He didn’t tell us for 10 days because he didn't get caught until the 10th night. As he was stealing this last cheese and mayonnaise sandwich for the 10th night in a row, a nurse saw him! Oh, the horror! He had to stand up for himself and fervently explain his hunger and his actions. It took quite a few minutes of debate but finally he got his sandwich for the night, not that it curbed all of his hunger pangs.

It was all so humiliating for him. Not only was he extremely hungry, but he was reduced to becoming a thief, of all things! And he had to hassle with the nurses for quite a few minutes just to be eating a little more, before he went to sleep. We were out of town at the time so we could not be there to hear the stomach growls. If we had been, perhaps we could have done something sooner. So, take this as a warning for your family that all things may not be as well at the nursing home as you may have thought. Needless to say, he can hardly wait for the next few weeks to pass so he can enjoy plenty of food and especially pancakes with real maple syrup at our house. And no, I don't think we'll be serving any cold cheese sandwiches!

Making a Mood Diary to Reduce Stress?

Completing a mood diary over a period of three to seven days, expressing emotions felt at seven specific times throughout those days, may at first seem like a trivial act. However upon completion and evaluation of several days of moods, emotions and circumstances, according to behavioral theories of emotion, evaluation becomes a very worthwhile endeavor.
Awareness of one’s own behaviors and emotions can help a person deal more effectively with others, which causes greater satisfaction in relationships and better control over oneself. Understanding the cycles between motivators and drive to behaviors or responses, while trying to gain that balanced state of mind called “homeostasis;” significantly reduces stress while dealing with people, including ‘self.’ A written record of the ups-and-downs of daily emotions shows patterns more easily comprehended than casual reflection over the same time period.

Placing defined emotions into specific categories on a chart or in a diary, at certain times of the day, can prove to be a more difficult task than expected. At times you may feel that you are experiencing “alexithymia,” or the lack of words to describe emotion. Some emotions are more complex causing us to think harder about what we are actually experiencing.
For example, if you were to see a coyote eating some deer corn that you placed in your back woods, you may feel conflicting emotions of fearful apprehension, surprise, amazement, and happiness, all at the same time. Happy to see wildlife but not sure you wanted that kind of wildlife. You were expecting deer to eat the deer corn, of course, not a deer-hunting coyote! Especially bothersome would be that both the hunted and the hunter would eventually eat from the same feeder, perhaps while the kids are watching! Not a pleasant thought. Maybe disgusting.

You would then write these emotions down and later categorize them into basic “labeling boxes,” according to the different mood and emotion theories for evaluating our behavior.
The degrees of emotion can vary so much at times, that finding the correct category might be difficult even when using Plutchik’s “Basic 8” model. This model includes the emotions of:
1. Joy
2. Trust
3. Fear
4. Surprise
5. Sadness
6. Disgust
7. Anger
8. Anticipation
Plutchik’s visual vocabulary doesn’t seem to include enough range and variety does it?. Another even smaller range of emotion model is Ekman/Izard’s “Basic 6,” including:
1. Anger
2. Disgust
3. Fear
4. Happiness
5. Sadness
6. Surprise
Both models seem too limiting and you may have noticed the lists have more negative emotions compared to the positives.

How many of each emotion do you experience each day at reporting times?
Are you more positive than negative overall?
These are important patterns to watch for in yourself.

Many emotions have to do with environmental factors affecting us, as opposed to internal factors. The Schachter and Singer Appraisal model stresses how our descriptions of emotion depend on the context of the environment, and whatever is on our minds at the time. If you are working hard concentrating on something, you may not have the same emotion over an event in your surroundings as if you were just doing casual things. This is because your mind is focused on the work and does not want to depart from its concentration.
An example could be that you are asked a question while you’re working on finishing an important write-up for work and you’re feeling stress trying to answer the question, trying not to pull away from your concentration. Oppositely, later you are asked the same question, by the same person, in the same tone of voice, when you are merely browsing the Internet for music to download. You don’t feel the same level of stress over that same question this time, right? Being aware of your emotions can help you control them at times when they are likely to just “react,” causing an emotional upset.

The James-Lange theory discusses how body changes can cause emotion. This can happen when you have a headache and get grouchy or perhaps have abdominal difficulties due to unhealthy foods when you might fuss a lot.

The Commonsense View of emotions is a cycle whereas an event triggers an emotion which leads to physical changes. If someone would pinch you hard, you would then recognize the pain and emotion, which leads to an outburst of some sort.

The Opponent-Process theory is one that you’ve most likely noticed in yourself many times. This one describes when you experience great joy for extended periods, like a special night out, or a nice vacation. You then can expect a period of some depression to follow, which you need to be prepared for while rebalancing to a more “even” state of mind. This rebalancing act also occurs throughout each day to a lesser degree and a mood diary may help you notice these patterns more easily.

Another interesting theory, called the Optimum-Level theory, suggests the importance of change. When working for long hours, an emotional dissatisfaction may become apparent, causing you to want to make a sudden change in your environment and mental thoughts. This could be the cause for many big changes in people’s lives if they get feelings of dissatisfaction often enough. Perhaps even a feeling that you “have to get out of here!”
Without cognitive appraisal of your emotion with interpretation of your environment and your responses, self comprehension could be much more difficult. More serious cases of these dissatisfaction feelings may be a reason for many divorces today, so reasoning these emotions out helps to balance our lives.

An interesting finding in the study of emotion is how a prior level of arousal can influence the intensity of subsequent emotion.
For example, doing physical exercise increases your emotional responses. This aligns with the James-Lange theory for body changes causing stronger emotions. You may feel a heightened awareness so feelings are stronger than usual. Another factor is our sensitivity to other people’s “Paralanguage,” affecting our own emotions. People around us might have a greater impact on our mood than what you may have previously thought. So goes the old adage about watching the company you keep!

The Cannon-Bard theory focuses on how the thalamus in the brain simultaneously sends information to the body systems and to the brain for interpretation. This accounts for physically acting irritated while at the same time, discovering you already were irritated.
For example, you could find yourself practically throwing Saturday morning breakfast dishes into the dishwasher or jerking out your lawn mower for your weekend yard chore, due to a previous irritated response. Maybe your neighbor’s lawn equipment is extremely loud, while mowing and leaf-blowing his yard, during your breakfast. You may simultaneously figure out that you were irritated beforehand because of the long periods of time the neighbor uses his loud, leaf-blower every Saturday morning. You’ll notice that starting an activity that causes a slight irritation while already irritated causes much higher stress. You can now see how strong emotion plays a very large role in the daily routines of life, as you record your feelings and the events surrounding them in your mood diary. When analyze the mood diary for that Saturday morning time period, you’ll see the trigger that makes doing breakfast dishes or mowing the lawn even more irritating than it should be. This could help you change the emotional pattern by either changing where you eat breakfast so as not to hear the leaf-blower next door, taking a break in between stressful situations or maybe even buying storm windows to block out more of the neighbor’s loud yard equipment noise. Now you have options. Now you’re thinking pro-actively instead of re-actively, therefore reducing your everyday negative emotion.

Stress is a key factor affecting emotion. Cognitive-Consistency theories address this. Let us suppose that I’d like to reduce as much stress as I can in my home environment. Maybe I have noticed forgetfulness lately, so this drives me to keep lists of things to do, avoiding personal irritation from forgetfulness. These lists include my business upkeep, house cleaning chores, what groceries to replenish, et cetera, etc. They help avoid irritation from my husband who really enjoys clean and neat surroundings, with a well stocked pantry. So for a better home environment, I’ll keep up with my end of the business, I’ll grocery shop and I’ll clean the house as much as possible to have a less stressful environment and relationship with my husband.
These actions of mine however cause a different stress from my husband, since he gets irritated seeing me do so much work, errands and housework while not spending as much time with him and the kids. This could create feelings of “emotional dissonance.” Now we see the delicate balance needed for a balanced feeling. It is sometimes a difficult state to achieve but we all want to get as close to it as possible so mood diaries help us evaluate these things.

While we constantly try to meet the needs of self, family, co-workers and/or friends, we experience conflicts that must be approached in ways that cause the most acceptable outcomes.
With careful evaluation, a better life can be achieved by understanding our emotional states and responses. It’s about cause-and-effect, so make note of the causes to take charge of the effects in your life. Recording a diary of emotions and relating them to the theories of emotion can help our understanding, which leads to a less-stressful experience in this emotional world.
We can learn to live “on purpose” to reduce stress, instead of only “reacting” to our environment and life situations. So, try a mood diary and see what you find out about yourself. You’ll find ways of reducing stress just by making a few simple changes in your own reactions, in your own life. You can reduce your stress with a mood diary.

The essential first step in starting a new business is creating a business plan. According to the Quicken Small Business site, “A business plan is any plan that works for a business to look ahead, allocate resources, focus on key points, and prepare for problems and opportunities.” The site goes on to say that a business plan is not just for when a company needs financing. It’s an important, ongoing tool for optimizing growth according to priorities. It consists of a summary, mission statement, keys to success, market analysis, and break-even analysis. For a start-up firm, it can show if a certain business is even worth delving into. It’s a solid start to prepare for the future.

Essentially there are three ways to get the needed financing for a start-up company; self-financing, debt-financing and equity financing. Most entrepreneurs use self financing. (Ebert & Griffin, Business Essentials)
They use personal loans from friends or their own personal savings accounts, for example. The Small Business Association has several loan programs to help raise money to start a business. They have links to lending partners in the private sector along with their own programs and grants. They mostly discuss debt financing. Entreworld discusses venture capital and if this would be the way to go for your new business. This is a different form of small business financing, it has a partnership attached to it and they usually want stock, in exchange for their investment.
Entreworld’s site says that much of the available venture capital monies are not used each year because so many new businesses do not fully explore their options. These investors may be able to help you in the long term as one of your partners, due to their vast experience in the business world. Many of these kinds of funds are not available at the initial start-up, usually a little later, what they call an “early stage” company.

Venture Capital companies are usually made up of a group of small investors. They form a company for the purpose of funding other companies to make a profit, by investing and guiding companies. They form a partnership with the firm that needs funding and like to put one of their people on the board of directors. However, sometimes this can be limiting. They may not let you do some of the ideas that you had planned on implementing. They have a large say in the decision process of a company that they have invested in. On the other hand, venture capital sources do offer larger amounts of money to help your business. Since they are so heavily invested, they tend to offer expert guidance which brings about quicker profits. This is an advantage because of the knowledge that they would bring to your new company. It is a long process however, to get accepted by a venture capital firm. It can take up to six months before you know if they will help you. This can be rewarding though, as you would then be fully confident in your business plan and future profitability.

A couple of legal issues that entrepreneurs and small business owners face have to do with initial set-up and taxes. How you classify your company makes a big difference in the life of the company. If you choose to be a sole-proprietorship, you must be willing to risk being sued even for your personal assets. It is unlimited liability. (Business Essentials) Also, there are not as many tax benefits in this classification. A corporation can write off all types of insurance payments and pay for it with pre-tax money, for example, while a sole-proprietor must pay for this with after tax money and only write-off some of the payments. This leaves less profit for the owners. I can base this on personal experience.

Issues that married couple’s face in the start-up and operation of a business can be more complicated than an eager couple may first think. In the day-to-day operations of a company, stress and pressures mount up to strain even the best relationships. A detailed plan and setting up the division of responsibilities can keep a feeling of fairness before problems arise. If one person feels like they are handling most of the business, resentment can set in. I also have experience in this area. Many members of my family run businesses together, including my husband and me. A mission statement is a realistic and broadly defined definition of purpose. The best examples include a motivational factor and company competencies geared toward meeting customer needs. Memory, Thinking, and Intelligence

Much research has been done about intelligence. Charles Spearman and Howard Gardner found two different views, or schools of thought, in regard to intelligence. Comparing and contrasting a few key elements about their ideas gives a quick overview of each.

There has been much debate in deciding exactly what constitutes intelligence. A true definition cannot be agreed upon. Simply, intelligence is an overall ability to do well at varying tasks, with an emphasis on excelling at school related tasks. However, many influences can reflect success in school besides innate ability, including cultural environment and heredity.

The two main schools of thought on intelligence are the single intelligence camp and the multiple intelligence camp. Charles Spearman believed that there is one general intelligence factor while Howard Gardner’s perspective relies on eight distinct, but not independent, kinds of intelligence. Let's look at both more closely.

Charles Spearman was a British psychologist that lived from 1863-1845. He stated that there are two types of intelligence, one being general, “g”, and the other represented specific abilities which he called, “s.” He observed that people tend to have similar scores on both types, so he believed in a “single” intelligence. “Spearman defined general intelligence in 1904 as the kind of intelligence that is used to an extent in all intellectual tasks” (arches.uga.edu). He is considered a “lumper” in regard to simplifying intelligence into a single factor. Many intelligence tests today try to measure intelligence in this manner, delivering a single number plotted on a scale to equal a person’s “intelligence quotient” or IQ. Some consider this method incomplete.

Howard Gardner “points out that conventional tests of intelligence measure only the first two, and sometimes the third, of the multiple intelligences” (alite.co.uk). He categorizes types of intelligence as follows:
1) verbal/linguistic
2) logical/mathematical
3) visual/spatial includes how assessment is made of objects in space
4) movement or bodily kinesthetic includes handling objects and personal motion control
5) interpersonal intelligence or understanding of Spearman and Gardner’s Intelligence Models
6) intrapersonal or awareness of feelings as a behavior guide
7) musical, and his newest addition, (america-tomorrow.com)
8) naturalistic.
He is considered as a “splitter” theorist viewing intelligence as collections of abilities with varying strengths and weaknesses (Davis & Palladino, 2004).

Gardner localized parts of the brain needed to perform physical functions and studied the brains of people with disabilities postmortem, finding damage in specific areas compared to those who did not have a disability (Li, 1996).
He defines intelligence as the “ability to solve problems or fashion products that are of consequence in a particular setting or community” (arches.uga.edu) originally proposing this theory to account for the broad ranges in human talent and achievement.

Howard Gardner is a Professor in Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and lately, his model has been used in the development of school curriculum (twblearn.com).

Spearman and Gardner, both psychologists, wanted to further studies of human intelligence. They both desired a measurement of the human mind’s abilities and capabilities for a deeper understanding of this learning and its applications. Whether taking a broad or a narrow view, research into intelligence is an ever expanding endeavor which needs to continue for the betterment of the human condition. Howard Gardner said "We are slowly coming to realize that heredity and environment are each much more important than we ever thought they were" (emory.edu). Understanding how humanity is affected by nature (heredity) versus nurture (environment) increases our intelligence adaptability, therefore studying these two psychologists’ views can increase our capacity for understanding.

Internet Marketer's Bedtime Story

story telling :)

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. They all
lived happily together with their family in the Internet
forest. But as the little pigs grew older, they decided
to move out on their own, as little pigs will do.

The first little pig moved to the big city. He liked the
hustle and bustle and there were more business
opportunities there, he thought to himself. Every time
he turned around, there was another business he could
join, that promised him riches beyond his wildest dreams.

All he had to do was to pay $50 a month and do nothing

at all. The money would just flow into his bank account.

That's what the website said.

So, the first little pig hopped from business to business,
spending more and more money, trying every “great”

opportunity that came along. Unfortunately, for the
little pig, his money was on a One-way Street. It
flowed out of his bank account, but never back in.

Soon, the first little pig was dead broke and he had to
leave the big city that he loved so much, so he prayed real
hard asking what to do. So then he moved in
with his brother, the second little pig.

The second little pig lived in a town nearby. It was a
bit quieter than the big city, but it still had lots of
opportunity.

The day the first little pig turned up on the second
little pigs' doorstep, he was taken by surprise. He
could hardly get in the front door. The second little
pig had printed out all the eBooks and websites he could
find about making money online. He had piles of paper
stacked up all over the house and had no room to move.

He was constantly upgrading his hard drive, just so his

computer could operate.

The second little pig studied and studied the
information, but never felt he was quite ready to take
that first step. He still felt like he was missing some

important element and never made very much money at all.

Sadly, the second little pig lost his
house too. His inaction bankrupted him and both little
pigs had to move in with the third little pig.

The third little pig lived in the country. He loved the

on his online business about 4 hours a day and then took the
rest of the day off to enjoy life. Especially Sundays.

The first two little pigs asked what his secret to
success was, since they really were smart little pigs.

Why had he been able to make a living online when they

had failed?

The third little pig explained that when they all left home,
he had moved to the country and ordered a real business
blueprint, the true Marketing Journal. This Marketing
Journal was a hybrid business plan that connected a
book, a private member's website, and a monthly
teleconference coaching call for an exact plan to follow.

The first two little pigs realized they just didn’t have all the

relevant tools they needed, laid out in a workable manner.

Each day, the third little pig would open his book,
login to his private members' website and complete one
simple activity. Once a month he participated in a
coaching teleconference call where he could ask a
business coach and an Internet marketing consultant,
specific questions that popped up as he was building
his business.

The first two little pigs were so impressed by the
progress that the third little pig had made in only
one year, they decided to change their ways and follow
the third little pig's quality lead, thank God.

One year later, the first little pig moved back to the
big city. He moved into a nice house, bought a new car
and lived a very comfortable lifestyle.

The second little pig moved back to his town too. He was
able to buy his house back from the bank and even paid
off all his debts he had accumulated. He too lived a
happy, comfortable lifestyle.

The third little pig went on to build several online
businesses, following the formula he learned in the
Marketing Journal. Today he lives the life of his
dreams. He can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants,
and doesn't have to worry about the cost.

Thanks to this simple business blueprint, all three little
pigs are currently living the lives they always dreamed of.

Formating Your Emails for All

Writing emails to friends?
Doing some email marketing?
Or doing business and responding to customers by email,
you need to know this easy formatting technique to keep your reader reading.

I'm sure you've received an email that made you scroll over to the right on each line, right?
Back and forth you went, trying to keep track of which line you were on. Back and forth, back and forth. Ridiculous!
You can hardly get through it ...IF you even bother.
But you try, since you want to read it.
Then you notice you have started holding your breath.
You want to hit the delete button fast,
just so you can get rid of the irritation and breathe again. Whew!

Here's your tip for the day so YOU don't cause someone this trouble ever again, without even knowing it.

As you write an email, your email program, say you use Google mail, automatically
decides how many lines to make for you as you type in the window.
It looks fine to you once you've written it.
So, off it goes as you hit the send now button.
However, when Susie or John opens your note in their email program, say Yahoo mail or something, suddenly the note looks different than how it looked to you.
It now has a different amount of lines of text. And the view may not be as wide as yours was. This causes that scrolling problem when you cannot make the viewing window wide enough to accommodate the lines of text.

The solution is a simple one and I'm actually writing this in hopes that more people will use this technique, so scrolling emails will become obsolete. I had one the other day that made me crazy since I had to scroll so far on each line! (Wouldn't it be nice if all the email programs just automatically did this for us. Universal email code, or the like.)

Anyway, the trick is to stop writing your text line at about the 65 mark on the page, with a hit
of the Return key, to get to the next line.
This is easier to see in Microsoft Word since the curser placement on the page is listed at the bottom. But you can easily do it in your email client by counting off 10 underscores like this, "__________" or 10 "whatevers" like m's, "mmmmmmmmmm."
You can see that different keys on your keyboard take up different amounts of space, so you might like to just type something with 10 letters and numbers like this, "10ZILLION?" or
your own combination.
Then you copy and paste it across the top of the email you are writing, six times then add five more somethings, to get to 65.
Like this,
"10ZILLION?10ZILLION?10ZILLION?10ZILLION?10ZILLION?10ZILLION?
&FIVE."
This will give you your guide line to follow (Wow, a true guide line, ha ha).

Now, every time you see that you are getting close to the end of your copied and pasted
guide line up there, you hit the Return key. This will keep your text within the viewing
windows of most of the email clients in use today!

What a relief, you don't have to irritate anyone with scrolling and they can concentrate on what you wrote to them. Isn't that better?!
I feel like sighing with relief. Let's all take a deep breath right now. Relax, take in some extra oxygen. The world is short on that these days it seems. Now you don't have to give someone that "last straw" reason to blow up at you, since they haven't been breathing deeply enough in the first place!
Stress is a number one problem, don't you agree? Let's not cause more of it, if possible.

Next time you're writing an email, take an extra minute to see where you have to hit the Return key in your email program. Apply this technique a few times and you'll know automatically about how long to make your line of text. Try it out and then look at your text under your guide line.
If only everything lined up so nicely.
So, remember, keep your email text in a 65 count view and breathe deeply to keep your brain working properly.

On the Internet today we are experiencing a New Wave. It's a wave of profit sharing as an Incentive by Internet companies for people to join and stay with Internet programs and/or communities. Stock holding can also be a type of profit sharing ...If There Are company profits.
In a way, Microsoft has used sharing as an incentive for keeping employees happy. Instead of a cash Christmas bonus each year, company members were able to receive Microsoft stock as their bonus. So, as the company's stock and profits went up over the years, even the secretaries and gardeners were able to drive to work in Lamborghinis and such, if they wanted! Well, this is what I heard. I wasn't there. I did see pictures though!

Are you in on the new wave?

Not all of us are able to work at a huge Goliath money making company. Nor do regular hometown companies make bajillions of profits, like "Mike," or Microsoft.
Do you have any idea how much money is made, overall, on the Internet?
God knows that figure tops all estimates every year.
And new Internet users log-on each day, from all over the world.
Internet revenues are expected to grow to $221.6 Billion in 2009 according to Pulse Online, and that number is just for Internet access like broadband and dial-up! ...oh, and that was last years estimates. What about all the shopping, travel, dining discounts, movie tickets, golf, hotels and rental cars, to name a few items, and eBooks and downloads of all kinds, software, et cetera, et cetera? Incredible!

And Now (drum roll please), in walks Profit Sharing!

The Encarta dictionary defines Profit Sharing as the sharing of profits with members:
a system by which the people of a group receive a pre-arranged share of the group's profits. This is a real monetary value received on a regular basis by its participants, which comes down to cash for members ...And owners. That sounds good so far, right? Everybody wins. And IF the group or company makes a large amount of profit, the members can, and do sometimes, get a very good amount of profit. Very nice.
Part of what the members can do, is to invite everybody and of course, use the services. It also wouldn't hurt to sometimes click on an ad or two ...If you're truly interested in buying something you see advertised. So now, many of these companies are calling these chains of sharing-member-groups, Powerlines. And it could get powerful!
Members are usually placed one on top of the other, in a line, or several lines, with the profits going to each member, all the way up the line. Whoa.

These lines seem to just keep growing and growing as more people find out about them and have access to them. That's where we come in. It's a new thing for us to have this access.

Let's look at a couple more Internet companies riding this new wave, paying you to be a member and go along for the ride with them.
These companies advertise, like the members involved sometimes do, so everybody benefits. It's truly automatic.

So who are they?
Of course we already discussed Yuwie.
But there's also another Internet community about to open, called GiBlink. Who thinks up these names?
They are a work at home Internet biz, profit sharing, powerline site.
That's an all-in-one mouthfull!
Most every big Internet marketer you've heard of are already in.
The difference to Yuwie is that you pay to get into GiBlink, so the quarterly fees and the advertising are all part of the larger, always replenished, profit pool.
They charge either 50 or 150 for a site there.
And the site owners (that's you and me) get to sell domains and site hosting cheap, and collect on those monthly fees too. Or use it ourselves, even cheaper!
So long web host, I'm using my own at GiBlink.
They opened October 15, 2007.
Here's a phone call they posted online from a couple months ago when they started,
so you can listen to the Giblink phone call here. I've made a couple of hundred there myself. And it grows with each 3 month cycle. The numbers are astounding!
And now Forbes noticed them.

One more Profit Sharing site I know of is Quick Start to Wealth here (now I feel like eating Berries while I hum ;)
They just opened and started advertising, but the members are already profiting.
Now that's a deal even though this one isn't free either!. This stuff really works!

So, is GiBlink going to pay very much?
Some say 2500 per month. Some say 5000. Both are true over time but it will take months to get there.
Will Yuwie pay much? Looks like a little at a time. Lots if you get others to join under you.
Those are the questions we're all asking right?

We may be humming our way to the bank pretty often, pretty soon.
We shall see, we shall see.
Maybe we'll get to be the ones to take the pictures this time! ;)

Always Something New

You like looking at pictures? Most of us do.
How about looking at a photo album of a large portion of the people on the planet?

Today as I was browsing the Internet, I found a cool new toy at BlogSpot.com.
It's simply a viewer of all the pictures being uploaded, at that time, by member bloggers.
This makes for an interesting show that is ever changing!
I found I could stare at it for quite some time before I realized what I was doing.

If your co-workers see you looking at it, they will stop by to watch, so don't let too many of them crowd around your desk at one time if you aren't the boss!
You'll also find that your kids will be interested in a spell-binding kind of way.
And Thank God Almighty, the folks at Blogger have a filter to keep out adult content.
Well, it's not guaranteed but I didn't see anything questionable.
How nice for the kids and your Aunt Mable.

Apparently, the photos show on the screen according to your Internet connection speed, so you don't have to wonder if older computers will freeze up trying to load all those images.
This lets everyone enjoy the always something new show, anytime, anywhere!
It said on the website that the Blogger offices have had a viewer for a long time now and they just released the public version.
They had to limit themselves or they would watch for way too long when they should have been working.
It's easy to do!
They didn't think of sharing it at first, but since they enjoyed it so much, they knew we would love it too, after someone asked about a public release!

They think of everything.
And another neat feature is if you see a particularly interesting shot of something as it goes by, click on it to be taken to that persons site.

Are you too busy making a living to really live?
How do you pass up just getting by?

When you were in school, sometimes a teacher would get surprised how low
the students scored on a test.
Was it the teacher not teaching or the students not studying and learning?
It didn't matter, it was really up to you to use the tools in front of you.
So, to match typical achievement levels, the teacher would change the
grading scale and grade "on the curve."
This brought the scores down to a more average level, making the final
grades look better than students actually scored.
Of course, sometimes there was that one student that did much better than the others.
This would keep the average a bit high to include that one particular
student's higher marks, not allowing the scores to drop down to the
real average; therefore not allowing the rest of the class to look good.
Sometimes you just "got by" and just made that passing grade.

In life, as in school, none of us want to be at an average
or just a typical level...
if it's at all possible to score above the curve.
We really want that best grade, that "grade A" score in life.
As we go through our lives, becoming typical can frustrate us.
We don't truly like feeling strapped to the "norm," that's all so humdrum,
so SSDD (same stuff, different day).
We want to break out of the box, to stand on top of it and look out from up there;
not that we aren't thankful for what we have...
Right? We can count our blessings.

We have dreams of attaining more, of being that one that consistently
gets the higher grade in life.
Don't we still have dreams?
Dreams of rising above the daily grind and really enjoying more in life.
Dreams of a more balanced, secure and relaxed lifestyle.
Dreams of making more of our own decisions instead of feeling like cattle
and maybe trying out some of those dreamed up ideas we've had...
or exploring some of those places we've heard of around the world.

Nobody strives to be as average as they can be.
Nobody likes living paycheck to paycheck...
that's just a little more dangerous everyday, isn't it?

What is it that levels the playing field?

Many times we don't have the time for the extra work to really better ourselves
but whatever is personally trapping us, is the thing that is urging us to break free.
Sometimes we don't know who to listen to.
True mentors are getting harder to find, hype abounds.
Sometimes we listen too much to voices from our past!
Circumstances and diversion can cloud the true paths to real freedom and diversification.
What seems right, can be just another diversion.
What we've typically been taught keeps us in a less than victorious life.

How do you leverage your time, life and money to experience more?
What difference can you make in your daily life, to make something different happen in the future?
We all have that vacuum in our soul that wants a little more,
that spot inside that knows there probably is more and that perhaps life
could be more rewarding.

What about our deep down soul... our true essence?
Is there really a God that made everything and everyone?
Or are we just drifting happenstance somehow developing
ourselves slowly over time?
I don't know about you but I have enough trouble trying to change myself just
a little bit, let alone make some giant species altering change.
We often try to deny our empty feelings in our lives,
since we don't know what will fill the void...
or if something is worth the extra effort.
We don't like to get slapped in the face, it discourages us from stepping out again.

How can we live on purpose, step by step?
How do we make our own personal circle a better place to live in?
Can you hear if you are making the mistake of speaking negatively
and just accepting all the negativity as normal for your life?
How can we make the whole world a better place and leave a legacy for good?
Is it education? Yes, that is key, but why are some highly educated people so rigid,
so "high and mighty," seemingly without real feelings for others?

What makes a balanced person?

What sacrifices do we need to make to truly change?

What should normal be?

Do we have to live in dysfunction?

These are the answers we are searching for.

Join in on life, it's your world... don't retreat.
We can't just let it all run on automatic or we might get run over by those
who think they are the authority in our world.
We have to be proactive in our lives, not just settle.
We have to fight to express our authority and creativity, not bow to failure or mediocrity.
You weren't made to be just another typical person, just marking time.
Learn to stretch and truly think for yourself.

The United States of America was created with God given freedoms
and has flourished because of it, like no other.
Now Americans are complaining about everything as we are surrounded by blessings, more than any other country, ever.
We haven't been praying much though have we? ...as a Nation?
Are we childish or selfish? Can we partner with God and the community He
set us in, as He first planned?

You can be happy.
Start acknowledging what you can be thankful for.
You have blessings and there are a multitude of opportunities available to make your
life better.

Of course you will have major hurdles to leap over that will hurt a lot but
leaning on Him lets you come through them all, better than ever,
even when it seems to be taken a Long, Long time
Boldly seek and ask for wisdom, it's yours as a gift.
He's a giver.
Learn to accept this so you can leave here having made a difference in lives,
learn to excel.
No you don't really deserve it, but God loves to give you His help.
He is happy with you when you lean on Him.
Don't miss what He has planned for you and yours.
He gave you your dreams and He wants you to live them.

Do you ever secretly feel like you might get found out, be exposed?
Like... you aren't even as much as people think you might be?
Like... if they found out who you really were they wouldn't bother with you?
Don't just follow the masses, let the Lord fill your void and help you.
Don't cover it up anymore, you were made to fit together with Him.
Let Him cover you.
Confess your shortcomings and let Him make up the difference
in your life that you can't.
Be bold and strong believing in Him and He will fight your enemies with you and for you.

Crossover, move on and leave your past hindrances behind.
Chase those negative influences out of your mind.
Jesus didn't give you His Words down through all the generations of history and
then come here to die for you, just to leave you to live a defeated life!
Trust in Him and what He has bought for you.
Let's learn to live above the curve, to give and to receive more than most in love.
